Driven by the personal experience of navigating the vast and intricate landscape of Canadian immigration, Brigitte Barakat, the founder and a licensed Canadian Immigration Consultant, realized the pressing need for a comprehensive and centralized resource. The complexity of the subject, coupled with the constant changes brought about by COVID-19, presented a significant challenge. It became clear that staying current with the latest laws, rules, regulations, policies, and eligibility criteria was not just a task; it was a necessity to provide precise and accurate information to clients.

In response to these challenges, IMMIFOCUS was born. Our mission is to be the antidote to wasted time, providing a singular platform where practitioners can search, find, absorb, learn, use and apply Canadian immigration tools and resources effectively. Recognizing the added layers brought by the new code of professional conduct, we aim to keep practitioners aware of the enhanced and structured requirements in client management, ethics, conflict of interest as well as management of a practice.
